Korean Lash Lift FAQ Page

What is a Korean Lash Lift?

A Korean Lash Lift is an advanced lash lifting technique that softens the lashes and reforms them

while integrating keratin conditioning treatments throughout. Unlike traditional lifts, the entire lash is

processed from root to tip for a curl that is completely customized to your eye shape. This new curl

technique lasts between 7-9 weeks and has very minimal damage risk. The best deep conditioning

treatment your lashes could ever ask for!

What is a Keratin Lash Lift?

A Keratin Lash Lift is very similar to the Korean Lift. However, instead of reforming the full hair shaft,

the Keratin treatment only reforms the middle apex of the lash. This still offers a beautiful curl but it is

less customizable and offers a less dramatic look. The Keratin Lash Lift is great for clients who are

working to thicken their lashes or work on repairing damage from other services. Results last around

5-7 weeks.

How long does a Lash Lift last?

Korean Lash Lifts last anywhere from 7-9 weeks with proper aftercare. Keratin Lash Lifts last around

5-7 weeks.

Will a Keratin or Korean Lash Lift damage my lashes?

Most clients actually experience an increase in lash health and growth in the majority of cases. Of

course there are outside circumstances that could negatively impact the health of your lashes, so it

is very important to speak to your esthetician about any other services you have had done and any

products you are using on your lashes.

How is a Korean Lash Lift dif erent from a Keratin or regular lash lift?

Traditional lifts glue lashes to a rod under tension which can strain the root of the lash. The

traditional method only curls the lashes from the base to the middle, so there are much fewer options

for customizing the best curl for your eye shape.

The Korean method softens the lashes first and then shapes them so they have no tension on them

during the process. Keratin conditioning is built into every step so lashes feel soft and conditioned

rather than dry or brittle afterward. In addition because the lash is processed from root to tip, your

esthetician can completely customize your curl to your style and eye shape.

What's the aftercare for a Korean lash lift?

It is very important to remember that the lashes are reforming for the first 24 to 48 hours. During that

time, they are still fragile, so it is important to keep the lashes dry and make-up free. It is also

important not to rub them and to sleep on your back the first night if possible. After that, treat them

like your normal lashes and use a serum for extra growth.

How should I come to my appointment?

Come to your appointment without any eye make up on including concealer or eye creams. It is ideal

if you can wash your lashes before your appointment but we will do a deep lash wash before starting

the service as well.

Can I wear mascara after a Korean lash lift?

Yes!! But just remember to leave your lashes alone for the first 48 hours. After that we recommend

skipping waterproof mascara unless absolutely necessary, as removing waterproof make up tends to

remove some real lashes along with the product. You work hard for these lashes, let’s keep them

attached!

What if my lashes are very fine or short?

The Korean technique was developed just for you! Everything in this service is so customizable that

your lashes will be treated with the utmost care.
